Web Site of the Month

The Toronto AES Home Page

This month we'll highlight a site that's closer to home.

For the last few years the Toronto AES section has provided information for embers on the Horizons BBS maintaned by Glenn Specht. Last Earl McCluskie, the original editor of the Bulletin, converted the first three years of the Bulletin to html. In June of 1995 Peter Cook (currently Chair of the Toronto Section) set up and began maintaining a web site for the Toronto AES section.

Once you arrive at the home page you will find the latest news about the next meeting, a link to the current bulletin, a "What's New" item, and links to the rest of the site.

Surfing around the site you'll find background info on the AES and the Toronto Section, links to other AES section homepages, and the full text of every bulletin published since September 1992. You can browse through each issue or use the key word search engine at the site to find exactly what you are looking for (e.g., what was the name of the doctor who did the presentation on hearing protection a couple of years ago?). The bulletins provide a valuable store of information as well as a record of the section's activities. Peter says we can look forward to additional useful information in the months ahead.
